So this Department of Water Resources representative stops at a Texas ranch and talks with an old rancher. He tells the rancher “I need to inspect your ranch for your water allocation.” The old rancher says, “Okay, but don’t go in that field over there.” The water representative says, “Mister, I have the authority of the Federal Government with me. Dear Editor, A CASA worker is a court appointed advocate. The question is then asked wheat one has to do to become a CASA worker.

Tom lived in Smallsville. Everybody knew each other, and they all knew each other’s routines and habits. Tom had grown up in that town, and all the citizens of Smallsville knew of Tom’s rough and reckless lifestyle since his teen years.

As a Hospice Chaplain nothing hits me harder than hearing a survivor confess that life no longer holds a reason to be alive. Conversely, there is no feeling of elation that compares to the feeling of giving loved ones years of their lives back that might have otherwise been lost to continuing grief and sorrow... That feeling is nothing short of PRICE- LESS!

Yesterday... your eyes opened and thoughts of your upcoming day drifted into your mind. Your first thought was, “Oh, no! It wasn’t a dream! It is real!” Today, just before your eyes opened, you became instantly aware of what has been lost.

A few months ago, we relocated to a completely different part of the state. Sold our house, packed up everything that wasn’t nailed down, and dumped our lives into another home in another city.
