Our Last Precious Memories!

Body
A door closing, a sweet note you found in a book, your voice on the answering machine, a final text to cherish forever, a picture of you with your lovely smile... all-insignificant until they became sweet memories set down in time. These are the moments of a final goodbye we never forget. All that is left of a lifetime of hopes and dreams that will never be fulfilled.

“Song And Dance On The Battlefield”

Body
“A young couple was deeply involved in the timeless dance of married couples since the first union, and I am not referring to sex. This was the dance of war. Each had taken a rigid angry stance on opposite sides of their ballroom. In fact, the battle for this championship had escalated to the point that, no matter what one said, the other was definitely going to disagree. No compromise, take no prisoners. Victory at any cost.

Where Is God?

Body
John was devoted to God. He and his family attended all the worship and Bible classes that his church held. It wasn’t mandatory, but John wanted his wife and little girl to know and to love God at least as much as he did.

Precious Memories, Oh How They Linger…

Body
If you were to ask someone what their best and worst memories are/were, most people could probably tell you, and in detail. Although we like to focus on the ones that are happy, fun, exciting, and loving, there may be others that we would like to forget, yet somehow can't. Maybe it's the loss of a loved one, or being treated poorly by someone, or being abused physically or emotionally, being in an accident, seeing something that was disturbing, losing a job, etc.

“Renie’s First Motorcycle Wheelie

Body
When Renie was a young teenager, she worshiped her older brother. Willing to do anything to get his attention, she would follow him around endlessly, much to his irritation. The year he moved away after graduating high school left her impatiently waiting for his infrequent visits back home. On one such visit, he returned proudly riding his brand-new motorcycle.

The Inner Voice of Love!

Body
Have you ever felt extremely sad, abandoned, unloved, and all of a sudden received an insight that gives you temporary relief from your anguish? Or, have you felt that you have no future now that your loved one is not going to be with you, and then in a flash you see something you can do to keep the struggle for survival alive? Where does this information come from? Who or what is behind it?

Missionary and pastor Rev. Earl Lee wrote a short treatise called The Cycle of Victorious Living. The book is based on Psalm 37:1-8. He describes how we are called to not Fret or Worry, but rather, we are to COMMIT, TRUST, DELIGHT, and REST in the Lord.
