Bristow’s long-awaited cheer facility: a winning leap forward

Bristow’s cheerleading program is getting a new Cheer Facility, a big step after years of effort. The building might be ready by early October, though no exact date is set. Since at least the early 2000s, the team has needed a permanent space.

Search efforts for missing woman have been called off

Bristow News reported on the disappearance of Patricia Matthews, age 71. Matthews was reported missing on Aug 10. 2025 when she reportedly went to look at some houses, which her son said was odd as she owned her own home. Matthews car was found at an intersection in Okmulgee County.
