According to Punxsutawney Phil winter isn’t over, which means tornados will remain a larger danger. Winter tornadoes are far more dangerous because they pick up higher speeds and often happen late at night – giving homeowners less time to get to safety. According to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), tornado season in the United States lasts from March through July. In southern states, peak tornado occurrence is March through May, while peak months in northern states are during the summer. Tornadoes are most likely between 3 and 9 p.m. but have occurred at all hours.

Members were introduced to Ireland by answering role call of whether they were of Irish decent. All seven members present said they were part Irish, with all also identifying various other ethnic groups. This included but not limited to: Germany, Black Dutch, English, Scottish, Polish, Native American, ect. Members also shared family stories of ancestors being in the Revolutionary War, Civil War, ect.

The young man told a religious friend,“I just don’t understand how God can love me after all the wrong things I’ve done.” He went on to say, “Where is Jesus?” His religious friend answered, “He’s right next to you.” “Really? How can I be sure?” “Just believe. It’s by faith.” How would you have replied to that young man? What do the New Testament scriptures teach? For many folks without hope, quitting and giving up because of the troubles and the trials they face in life seems a viable option. I think of circumstances close to home: the deaths of family members or friends, a young mother searching for baby formula on an empty grocery store shelf, financial struggles due to inflation, a lost job, cut hours, or burdensome medical bills, extreme pain challenges or sleep deprivation, and health concerns of others, or maybe it is a family member away from the Lord that you are praying for.
