Get ready to hit the open road and soak up the sights, sounds, and soul of America’s most iconic highway! The 100 Greatest Miles of Route 66, stretching from Sapulpa to Edmond, invites music lovers, road trippers, and adventure seekers to join the second annual Sounds on 66, a live music celebration showcasing Oklahoma’s vibrant communities along the Mother Road.
This legendary stretch connects 11 historic Route 66 towns — Sapulpa, Kellyville, Bristow, Depew, Stroud, Davenport, Chandler, Wellston, Luther, Arcadia and Edmond, each bursting with small-town charm, vintage Americana, and authentic roadside attractions. From Friday, Oct. 2 through Sunday, Oct. 4, seven cities are collaborating to entertain travelers with 15 live music events featuring a variety of musicians and bands.

Friday, Oct 2: Honey Hush and The Solis Brothers light up Sapulpa (5-10 pm); Past Forward Band gives country and rock tunes to The Chicken Shack in Arcadia (6-9pm), Not to Scale rocks Venue 66 in Bristow (6-10 pm); Dani Carson brings country and to Edmond Frenzy Brewing (7-10 pm).
Saturday, Oct 3: Enjoy five bands throughout the day at Chicken Shack in Arcadia: Greg Dragoo (9-noon), Rocky Kanaga and Eldon Hughes (12-3 pm), Matt Cowell (3-6 pm) and) and Loose Gravel (6-9 pm). Jim Tate delivers retro rock and blues at Chandler Route 66 Bowl (2-4 pm); Charlie Munn and Not to Scale fill Davenport North Park Pavilion with classic sounds (5-8 pm); Angie Deer-Turner at Kellyville Baker House (5-8 pm), Above the Fray and Jokers to the Right jam at Stephenson Park in Edmond (6-8 pm); Brad Jones brings 90’s alt rock to Edmond Frenzy Brewing (7–10 pm).
Sunday, Oct 4: Enjoy Christian music at Davenport North Park Pavilion (2–5 pm).
