On October 14 community seniors met at the Bristow VFW to hear Independent Medicare Insurance agents, Steve and Paula Dibbing, give a presentation discussing the many changes in 2027 Medicare plans. Some plans will no longer be available in Creek County, but there are plenty other plans to choose from. There are so many variables in the plans and within the plans, it would be wise to talk with a Medicare Agents. Be cautious if talking to a Humana or Community or other agents for a specific plan, they will find a plan within their company, even though a plan with another company might be best for you. Independent agents represent numerous companies and will look at all plans to find the best plan for you in this area. One must consider location, can you keep your current doctors and hospitals, medication coverage, your health issues and extra benefits available. Enrollment for 2027 runs from October 15 through December 7. New plans begin January 1, 2027. The Dibbin's will be at Kemp Drug to visit with enrollees. Check with Kemps for dates and times.
