Just in time for Halloween, Bristow High School’s Fine Arts One-Act team is bringing a classic tale of fright to the stage, and they’re doing it with an impressive accomplishment already under their belts.
The talented group recently earned Regional Runner-Up honors at the Class 5A Northeast Regional One-Act competition, securing their opportunity to advance to the state competition.
Adding to the excitement, students Nick Howell and Luke Mosier received individual acting awards for their performances.
Before heading to state, the students will present their production of Frankenstein to the community on Thursday, October 29, at 7 p.m. at the Freeland Center.
Admission is free, giving families, friends, and community members the opportunity to enjoy a little Halloween-season entertainment while supporting the hard work of local students.
The production is part of an exciting season for Bristow’s Fine Arts Department, which has adopted the motto; Setting a New Standard; as students continue striving for excellence in their performances and competitions.
With state competition ahead, the cast and crew have plenty to celebrate, and the upcoming performance offers Bristow residents a chance to show their Pirate pride.
After all, what better way to kick off Halloween festivities than with a little Frankenstein and a whole lot of hometown talent?
