The Bristow Librar y is getting into the fall spirit with two special events taking place October 2224: the annual Friends of the Br istow Library Association Book Saleandthe WoodlandQueen Fall Festival. With books, crafts, games, a pie cookoff and more, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.
Friends of the Library Annual Book Sale The annual Friends of the Librar y Book Sale will take place at the library on:
•Thursday, Oct. 22: 3 - 5 p.m.
• Friday, Oct. 23: 10 a.m. - 5 p. m.
• Saturday, Oct 24: 10 a.m. - 1 p. m.
Shoppers can stock up on books and other great finds while supporting the library.
Proceeds from the sale benefit the Friends of the Library and help fund library programs and activities for the community.The library also welcomes donations of gently used books and other materials for the sale. Book sale donations must be dropped off at the library by Friday, October 16.
Woodland Queen Fall Festival
The fall fun continues on Saturday, Oct. 24, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with the Woodland Queen Fall Festival. Families are invited to enjoy a variety of fall and Halloween- themed crafts and activities.
The festival will also feature a Pie Cookoff, giving loc al bakers the opportunity to show off their favorite pie recipes. A cash prize will be awarded to the winner of the Pie Cookoff. Anyone interested in entering should register with the library by Friday, Oct. 16.
