On Jan. 27 2022, Paul K. Tibbens passed from this life at 83 years young into eternal life.

Paul resided in Sacramento County for 46 years, in Orangevale, California, with his wife Betty and their little dog Tippy. Paul retired in 1983 from the United States Air Force as a Chief Master Sergeant, Chief Of Job Control for the 940th Air Refueling Wing at Mather Air Force Base, California. In early 1984 Paul continued to serve our nation with Civil Service on McClellan Air Base California as a Project Manager for the Advanced Tactical Fighter Program. Paul served our great nation for over 50+ years. Paul loved to fly, he took many trips around the world seeing many countries and aviation was his passion in his professional life.

Paul had many interests during his off time, he loved to fish and hunt and did this for many years. Paul also donated his time to Cub Scouts & Boy Scouts. Paul along with his wife Betty did take on the education of Scouting leaders for the Sonoma Mendocino Council of Boy Scouts of America for more than five years. Paul also donated time to Foothill Chapter Order of DeMolay as a Chapter Advisor for many years, he was asked to be the District Deputy for the Valley Division DeMolay Association for more than 25 years. Paul was also involved in Amateur HAM Radio for many years. Paul was very involved with the Charles F. Anderson Masonic Temple Board, responsible for the care and maintenance of the building and resources.

Paul loved to work in his woodshop in the backyard, he created many things for people such as clocks and outdoor bird houses, fixing of furniture and painting his great creations, many were gifts to people he met. Paul always had a kind word for everyone he met, he had the gift of never meeting a stranger.

Paul is survived by his wife Betty of more than 61 years, his daughter Sandra and her husband Michael, both of Orangevale, California, his grandsons Lawrence, of Orangevale and Matthew and his wife Jennifer, both of Orangevale his son Pete and his wife Lori both of Fernley Nevada, his two other grandsons Stephen and Kenneth, both of Copperas Cove Texas, his sister Mary-Linda of Jenks, his sister Pam of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and his youngest sister Patricia, of Broken Arrow.

Services will be at Mount Vernon Mortuary at 8201 Greenback Lane, Fair Oaks California 95628 on Feb. 19, 2022 at 1 p.m. Chapel Services, them the Graveside Serv ice will commence at 2 p.m. in the Garden of Memories at Mount Vernon, with full military honors being rendered.

A reception & Celebration of Life will be at Natoma Lodge #64 1000 Duchow Way Folsom California 95630 beginning at 3:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in the name of Paul K.
