March 7, 1993 - November 17, 2022

McKenzie Lee Allene Gee, born to Curtis Lee and Janet Gee in Wichita, Kansas, brightened this world March 7, 1993. She passed from this life Nov. 17, 2022 at the age of 29 years; her light shining bright in the hearts and memories of those who knew and loved her.

From a young age curiosity sparked her interest in everything. McKenzie was a lover of life; she was not one to sit idly by; she pursued it passionately. McKenzie was a motivated achiever. Being tenacious lent her abilities to balance academic accomplishments such as earning her veterinary white coat and nearly completing her doctorate in veterinary medicine at Kansas State University, all while defending numerous National International and World Champion titles as an equestrian, with several different horses. She was currently working as a personal fitness trainer and coach. She guided others to a healthier lifestyle with her instructor level certifications in yoga, barre, and kickboxing. Fitness was the forefront of McKenzie’s life. Through it all, McKenzie shared her successes with those around her. She cherished greatly, holding in high regard, the many friendships and bonds she had fostered through the years. She loved unabashedly, teased unmercifully, and added sparks of fun and adventure everywhere she traveled. She loved this earth, and was thankful to those who contributed to unusual and farreaching travels to “exotic ports and far away places”

McKenzie is survived by her mother, Janet Gee; one brother, Brendon Howard Taylor Wheelock and wife Mariah, their three sons, Brass, Ryatt and Kross; one sister, Eryn Lenora Guy and husband James, their children, Piper (Guy) Reidel and husband Parker, Aiden, Kian and Dace as well as, one great niece, Renlyn Reidel, all of Medicine Lodge, Kansas.

She was preceded in death by her father, Curtis Lee Gee.
