Central Tech’s Explorer Program expands to five new middle schools

Five new middle schools are joining Central Tech’s Explorer Program this fall, bringing realworld career learning to hundreds more students. With momentum growing, first-year partner schools shared advice and encouragement as the program expands.

Josi Morquecho

Josi is a proud graduate of Northeastern State University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Health and Human Performance. She was raised in Bristow, and is incredibly excited to be back in the community that helped shape who she is today.

Jen Handsel

Bristow Schools welcomes Jen Handsel.Jen will be teaching art this year at Collins for the first semester. She will then move to Edison for the second semester.Jen grew up in Kellyville until she was six and moved to Tulsa in second grade.

Allison Sexton

Edison Elementary welcomes Allison Sexton to the Bristow Staff! Allison will be teaching 1st grade.Graduating from Fort Hays State University, Allison earned her bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, with a Minor in Special Education. She has her ESOL endorsement and is Certified in LETRS.

Paike McNiel

will will be joining our fifth grade team to teach science and US History. Paike graduated from Southwest Baptist University with her elementary education degree and this will be her second year teaching the 5th grade.

Karissa Stitt

Welcome Karissa J. Stitt to the Bristow staff. Karissa will be teaching second grade this year. At Edison Elementary.Karissa is a proud graduate of the University of Central Oklahoma, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education.

Rachel Burkhalter

Rachel Burkhalter joins the Bristow staff. Rachel will be teaching first grade this year at Edison . Rachel is a proud graduate of Texas Women University, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in the Science of Education.
