Spring is here, the days are getting longer and the daffodils are in bloom. Bristow's annual Easter Egg Hunt is just around the corner. This year the hunt will be held on Saturday, March 30, at Bristow City Park, beginning at 10 a.m. Hundreds of children and their family attend this hunt yearly. Thanks to Sharon VanOrsdol, who has organized the hunt for years, along with help from the leadership class, thousands of eggs are filled with goodies for the kids and to all the area businesses who either donated candy or monies for candy purchases, area children can enjoy a fun and safe environment and enjoy their Easter holiday. There will be a prize in every egg and prizes will be given away for each age group. The groups are one – three year olds, four – six years and seven – 10 years. The Easter Bunny will be visiting again this year so pictures are available. So bring the whole family and enjoy the Easter festivities at the park.
