Vehicle crashes into home, one dead in separate accident

On late Friday afternoon, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol and Bristow Fire Department, along with Creek County EMS and Creek County Sheriff's office responded to an accident near 337th West Ave off Highway 66.

FCCLA students win cooking competition and earn trip to Nationals

The Bristow FCCLA chapter held its 'Cook Around the World' cooking competition recently. Students showed their skills by making different dishes. Local judges scored each dish based on taste, looks, and creativity. After several rounds, the field was narrowed to the top three.

A Touch of Christmas

Cornrestone Church held its annual Touch of Christmas event on Saturday. Cars lined up to get in on the goodness of the church. Bags were filled with food, personal hygiene items and Christmas gifts for children. As each car drives through, bags are loaded into the car.
