Saugeye fair on crankbaits, grubs and sassy shad along flats and points. Crappie fair on minnows and jigs on minnows and jigs around brush structure and standing timber. Bristow Farmer's Market to open

The opening day for the Bristow Farmer's Market will be Saturday, May 16, 2020. Normally the market is held at the Town Square but for the beginning of the 2020 season, the market will open to the public in the parking lot at Mazzio's Italian Eatery to allow for social distancing between vendors and customers. The hours for the market is 7 – 11 a.m. each Saturday morning. The market will offer fresh produce, homemade bread and pastries, fresh eggs, and hand crafted local items. You will find fresh lettuce, spinach, canned goods, jams and jellies, plants and other early season goodies. Never have these items been more needed or appreciated than during this pandemic.
