Arbuckle: October 16. Elevation below normal, water 79 and stained to clear. Fishing has been slow. Bass are hitting on topwater early morning and on overcast days off points and brush. Crappie fair off docks early in the morning and around brush piles at 6-18 ft. deep. White bass are both up channels and along creek ledges, use CC spoons at 22-26 ft. deep at drop-offs and up creeks along channels chasing shad using wiggle tail grubs. Striped bass good on flukes, live shad, sassy shad, shad and topwater lures below the dam, main lake, points and river channel. Striper are being caught on live shad very well. They are being caught near Washita Point, Platter Flats and the islands. Blue catfish good on cut bait, dough bait, live shad, punch bait, stinkbait and sunfish along channels, main lake and river channel. Blue cats are being caught on live shad near the river channels and ledges in 30- 60 ft. of water.
