A cruise t-shirt depicts palm trees with a man peacefully resting on a hammock. The caption reads ”Down time all the time.”
The Keeper of all your time is God! We read,“…in Your book were written all the days that were ordained for me, when as yet there was not one of them” (Psalm 139:16-17).
That’s awesome! God knows you! His book records your time! You are still here, meaning He’s giving you more time! You have an important mission from the One who gives life!
“The mind of a person plans his way, but the LORD directs his steps” (Proverbs 16:9) What else does He know about you? He knows your troubled times. God’s power is greater than yours! Who can better comfort and strengthen you during the desperate times?
“Cast your burden upon the LORD, and He will sustain you; He will never allow the righteous to be shaken” (Psalm 55:22).
A similar Bible verse comes from the apostle Peter: “Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, so that He may exalt you at the proper time, having cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares about you” (1 Peter 5:6-7).
Why depend on anyone but your powerful Creator? Trust in Him rather than in your own abilities! He knows your time. Christ Jesus continues loving you!
Many people are rescued by God, even today. During your unbearable times, put your life in His hands. Your life here is temporary! It makes sense to call out to the God who made you. He listens when you’re burdened.
Think about the words of the apostle Paul: “For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us” (Romans 8:18).
Many verses in your Bible offer hope, assurance, and comfort, but the Lord has given you a limited time on this earth. It’s your time to begin living each day calling on Him!
“And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose” (Romans 8:18).
Jesus doesn’t want you wasting the time He has given you! The fact that you still walk on Earth declares, “Your time is not finished!” Isn’t it time to give your life completely to Jesus? That’s why you are still here! When your time comes, He wants you with Him!
“Do not be…foolish. Why should you die before your time?” (Ecclesiastes 7:17)
