Choir students chosen as All State Chorus Members

A huge congratulations goes out to Mike and Ann Sanford and the Bristow Vocal Music Program. Nine of the students have been chosen as All State Chorus Members, or All State alternates. This honor puts these students in the top 28 singers for their singing parts (Alto 2, Tenor 1, and Bass 2) in the State of Oklahoma. These students will participate in virtual rehearsal and concert, Jan. 21-23, 2020.

These student were chosen for these choirs are

OKMEA High School All State Treble Choi, Jade Robinson, Mackinsey Darrough, Kinlee Snell and Lena Still.

OKMEA High School All State Mixed Choir, Autumn Manus, Zak Hall and Xander Stewart. Alternates for the All State Mixed Choir is Kinlee Snell and Jackson Lupp

The choir also had several middle school students qualify for Junior High All State. These students will participate in virtual rehearsals and concert on Jan. 7 - 9, 2020.

Oklahoma Choral Directors Association Junior High All State Mixed Choir goes to Wake Tidwell, Austin Wells, Ty Bishop, Trinity Hinshaw and Zoie Greening.

This is an outstanding accomplishment for these young women and men. Congratulations to each of these very talented students and to the instructors, Mr. Mike Sanford, and Mrs. Ann Sanford. These students will be recognized by the Bristow Board of Education with a certificate honoring each student at the December Board of Education meeting.
