From the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics
On Friday, May 29, 2026, OBN’s Marijuana Enforcement Teams (MET) served a Search Warrant at Green Dragon Growers LLC in Bristow, Oklahoma as part of an ongoing investigation into illegal marijuana cultivation and trafficking.
“Our investigation found evidence the operators of this grow where moving nearly a thousand pounds of marijuana onto the out-of-state black market every two months,”said OBN Director Donnie Anderson. “Our information also shows they were using fraudulent marijuana waste records to disguise the diversion of the marijuana.”
During the Search Warrant, OBN MET Agents seized 6,729 plants and 199 pounds of processed marijuana. Arrests are anticipated as this case moves forward.
Agencies assisting OBN MET on the Search Warrant were the Creek County Sheriff ’s Office, Creek County Commissioner Jarrod Whitehouse’s Office, the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, and Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
Oklahoma House Speaker Kyle Hilbert, R-Bristow, praised the work being done by the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics.
“The successful bust in House District 29 is another example of the outstanding work being done by OBN’s Marijuana Enforcement Teams to crack down on illegal marijuana operations and drug trafficking across our state,' Hilbert said. 'This operation sends a clear message that Oklahoma is not the ‘Wild West’ for criminal enterprises looking to exploit weak oversight.'
In 2021, OBN established fulltime statewide Marijuana Enforcement Teams (OBN MET) to address the escalating presence of criminal organizations setting up marijuana operations in Oklahoma. OBN MET Agents have targeted operations tied to black market trafficking and obtaining an OBN Registration by fraud using 'straw ownership' schemes.
At the end of 2022, 8,400 farms were operating with an active OBN Registration. As of today, that number stands at less than 1,400 grows. Since 2021, OBN MET Agents have seized over 2.3 million illegal marijuana plants, more than 295,000 pounds of processed marijuana, and made over 400 arrests with additional arrests pending as many of these investigations remain ongoing.
Citizens can anonymously report suspected drug and human trafficking by sending OBN a Facebook DM.
