Think of a hateful person. Maybe it’s your boss. Possibly it’s someone who works beside you.
It could be Vladimir Putin, who’s trying to eliminate Ukraine. Now that’s hate!
What about Idi Amin? Uganda was terrorized during his reign, from 1971 to 1979. He hated his countrymen.
Pol Pot grabbed control of Cambodia during his four-year reign of terror from 1975 to 1979.
Saddam Hussein was evil! He killed millions!
Egypt’s President, Anwar Sadat, was considered so hateful his countrymen assassinated him! His reign of hatred lasted from 1970 to 1981.
Of course, Adolph Hitler is the poster boy of hate. He’s credited with perpetrating hate against countless people during his many years of Nazi control beginning in the 1930s.
This list should be enough to hold us over. Many more names could be added.
There is One who truly wants the best for you! He keeps you going to and fro during your daily errands. When was the last time you asked God for a safe journey? He has given you many, though you may have never asked.
”The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly“ ( John10:10). Jesus reveals His reason for coming into the world. He came to give you freedom from the evil one.
Jesus once taught, ”As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness (Numbers 21:4-9), even so must the Son of Man be lifted up; so that whoever believes will in Him have eternal life.
“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge .the world, but that the world might be saved through Him“ ( John 3:14-17).
