Psalm 56:3-4; 10-11 (NLT)

“3. . . when I am afraid, I will put my trust in you. 4I praise God for what he has promised. I trust in God, so why should I be afraid?”

“10I praise God for what he has promised; yes, I praise the Lord for what he has promised. 11I trust in God, so why should I be afraid?”

In Matthew 11, Jesus said, “Come unto Me.” Too often we Christians view that as a call to duty . . . to pay some debt we owe. However, His invitation to “Come unto Me,” has a deeper meaning. It is a solution to every problem we are going through. It is the key to calming every fear—physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

If you are sick, come to Him for health;

If you are homeless, come to Him for a home;

If you are friendless, He will be your friend;

If you are hopeless, He will give you refuge.

PRAYER:“Keep us, O Father, this day from all things hurtful to our souls and bodies and grant us a pure heart and mind to follow the steps of our gracious Redeemer, in whose name we pray. Amen”, John Wesley
