A new Pastor has made his home in the Bristow Community. The Fellowship Church of the Nazarene, Fourth and Chestnut, has welcomed Pastor Ron Biddle and his wife, Jeanette. Biddle comes to the community from Pennsylvania where he pastored at the Nazarene Church for six and a half years before God blessed him with a call to become the Pastor of Fellowship Church of the Nazarene here in Bristow.

Biddle began his ministry in 2014. The church in Pennsylvania was his first pastorate. He received his second, seminary, master's in Pastoral Ministry/Theology through Northwest Nazarene University.

Before inviting God back into his life, Biddle was an insurance broker for 21 years with 11 state agencies and over 100 insurance agents. He and his wife, Jeanette, both received a Master's Degree in Communication from Oregon State University. Both of them taught Communication at Higher Education for 20 years. Biddle is also a Vietnam Army veteran.

Biddle said he has been married to the love of his life, Jeanette for 31 years. He said, “This is not a first marriage but Jeanette is the joy in his life, a great pastor's wife and a terrific listener.” Between the two of them, the Biddles have six children ranging from ages 46 – 55; 15 grandchildren between the ages of 15 – 33 and 12 great grandchildren between the ages of 14 years to three months.

Jeanette is a retired college instructor but still teaches Sunday School and quilting classes. She is an avid reader, quilter, genealogist, gardener and cook. As for Pastor Biddle, he said, “I love to be with people, listening and encouraging, as well as caring and giving hope. I enjoy reading, both for pleasure, inquisitiveness and for sermon development.” Biddle says he enjoys watching Christian, family and uplifting movies. The Biddles also have a two and a half year old Springer Spaniel who loves to play ball.

Biddle said, “As far as my preaching style, I am a Bible believing, holiness, Christian pastor who does not believe anyone comes to church to hear my opinion but rather, they want to hear the word of God preached boldly, truthfully and unashamedly. Twenty years of being around 18 year old students taught me they want you to be straight with them.” “In the world of chaos and turmoil that we live in, people are looking for hope in their lives, their families and their future. That is the mission of the church, to love and care for others. Jesus the Christ is the hope giver who promised He would never leave us nor forsake us. He is the calm in the storm of life,” said Biddle.
