Roy Edgar Perry was born March 19, 1939, to Sam Ellsworth and Valrie Leon Perry in Bristow. He departed this life March 7, 2022, at the age of 82. He graduated from Bristow High School in 1957 and married his high school sweetheart Bonnie Joe King June 29, of the same year.

Jeremy Ace Fortney

Jeremy Ace Fortney was born Oct. 12, 1969, to Jerry and Mary Fortney in Enid. He departed this life March 4, 2022, at the age of 52. He graduated from Bristow High School in 1987. While he was in high school, he attended Central Area Vo-Tech studying to be an electrician.

Kenneth Lewis Seney

Kenneth Lewis Seney was born Nov. 28, 1933, to Cleatus and Dora Seney in Neosho, Missouri. He departed this life Feb. 25, 2022, at the age of 88 years. Kenneth moved to the area with his family at a young age making Bristow his forever home.

Gerald “Jerry” Lee McDaniel

Gerald “Jerry” Lee McDaniel was born Jan. 1, 1947, to Clarence and Elouise (Whitehead) McDaniel, in Chickasha, Oklahoma. He departed this life Feb. 27, 2022, at the age of 75 years, one month and 27 days. He spent most of his childhood and adolescent years in California.

Teddy Richard Smith Jr.

Teddy Richard Smith Jr. was born on Nov. 13, 1954, in Norman, to biological parents, Teddy Richard Smith Sr. and Lily “Lil” Bryant. He departed this life Feb. 26, 2022, at the age of 67. Ted grew up in various navy bases across the U.S.

Frank Luna Cortez Jr.

Frank Luna Cortez Jr. was born Feb. 20, 1947, to Frank and Queenie Cortez in Houston, Texas. He departed this life Feb. 28, 2022 at the age of 75. Frank was a graduate of Stephen F. Austin High School. Entering the Marine Corps, Aug.

Virgil Cleonne Russell

Virgil graduated from Big Spring High School in Big Spring, Texas in 1950. He attended Howard County Junior College where he was an outstanding athlete in basketball and track, holding several records. In 1950, he was drafted by the Navy and served until 1953.

Joseph Donald Carman

Joseph Donald Carman was born Dec. 3, 1931, to James Monroe and Alta Leona Carman in Bartlesville. He departed this life Feb. 15, 2022, at the age of 90. He was a graduate of Central High School in Bartlesville.

Melissa Brandon

Melissa Brandon was born June 23, 1967 to Jerry and Sally Brandon. She departed this life Feb. 14, 2022, at the age of 54 years. Melissa, a longtime Bristow area resident, had currently been residing in Claremore for the last two years.
