Dr. Donald Ray Woolery

Dr. Donald Ray Woolery was born June 28, 1933, in Arondale, Oklahoma, it was also known as Rainbow Hollow, and was located west of Hominy. He was the first born of Paul Harrison and Constance Pansy “Connie” (Hodge) Woolery. Donald grew up in Hominy, and graduated from high school there in 1951.

On Friday, March 25, 2022, Donald Ray Beene, of Cushing, loving husband, father, and grandfather went home to rest in the arms of his Lord and savior Jesus Christ at the age of 86. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m.

Lisa Gaye McKinzie

Lisa Gaye McKinzie was born February 15, 1958 to Basil and Trela McKinzie in Paris, France. She departed this life March 24, 2022 at the age of 64 years. Lisa, a 1976 graduate of Depew High School, was active in the band as a drum majorette; and played basketball.

Jimmie Lee Pinson

Jimmie Lee Pinson was born May 25, 1937 to Elmer and Malee Pinson in Tuskegee. He departed this life March 15, 2022 at the age of 84 years. Jim attended Bristow Schools as a child growing up. He left school early enlisting in the U.S. Marine Corps returning home upon honorable discharge.

Louise M. Myers

Louise M. Myers, 71, of Bristow, passed away in loving arms on Feb. 28, 2022. Louise was born to Louis and Eleanor Walters on Aug. 16, 1950, in Silver Spring, Maryland. She was a 1969 Wheaton High graduate. Louise was a proud mother who loved her children unconditionally.

Jerry Dean Schonfield

Jerry Dean Schonfield was born March 16, 1939, to Albert and Eula May Schonfield in Bristow. He departed this life March 8, 2022, at the age of 82. After graduating high school, he enlisted and served his country in the United States Army. He enjoyed buying and selling oilfield equipment.

Sarah Jean Levy

Graveside services for Sarah Jean Levy were held Thursday, March 10, 2022 at 2: p.m. at the Kellyville City Cemetery with Rev. Mike Lewis officiating. Sarah Jean Levy was born June 13, 1989 in Tampa, Florida. She passed away Monday, March 7, 2022 at her home in Welty at the age of 32.

Bennie Leon “Snookie” Reed

Funeral services for Bristow resident Leon Reed were held 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2022, in the Memorial Chapel of Michael’s Funeral Home, of Bristow. Rev. Wayne Gimmel, of the Bristow Christian Center, officiated. Interment followed in Magnolia Memorial Gardens at Bristow.

Charles Kenneth Mooney, Jr.

Graveside funeral rites for Bristow resident Charles Mooney were held 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 19, 2022 at the Bristow City Cemetery. Military funeral honors were provided by the United States Navy. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care of Michael’s Funeral Home, of Bristow.

Graveside funeral rites for Bristow resident Erma Gail Brown were held 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 2, 2022, at the Magnolia Memorial Gardens at Bristow. Mr. Tim Lester of the North Sheridan Church of Christ, in Tulsa, officiated.
