Virgil graduated from Big Spring High School in Big Spring, Texas in 1950. He attended Howard County Junior College where he was an outstanding athlete in basketball and track, holding several records. In 1950, he was drafted by the Navy and served until 1953.

Joseph Donald Carman

Joseph Donald Carman was born Dec. 3, 1931, to James Monroe and Alta Leona Carman in Bartlesville. He departed this life Feb. 15, 2022, at the age of 90. He was a graduate of Central High School in Bartlesville.

Melissa Brandon

Melissa Brandon was born June 23, 1967 to Jerry and Sally Brandon. She departed this life Feb. 14, 2022, at the age of 54 years. Melissa, a longtime Bristow area resident, had currently been residing in Claremore for the last two years.

Benjamin Franklin (Jack) Lane, 83, of Depew, went home to be with Jesus, Tuesday, January 25, 2022 in his home surrounded by family and friends. Jack was born Oct. 1, 1938, in Bristow, to the late Howard and Stella Coffey Lane. He was the third of four children. Carl, Mary Ellen, Jack and June.
