Fort Gibson: October 6. Elevation is normal and falling, water temperature 74°F and stained. (USACE Lake Level) White bass good on crankbaits, in-line spinnerbaits, plastic baits, and spoons below the dam, channels, coves, and points. Crappie good on minnows, spoons, and tube jigs around brush structure and docks. Paddlefish good snagging around channels and main lake. (USACE Lake Level) Largemouth bass fair on bill baits, crankbaits, jerk baits, and jigs around coves, creek channels, docks, and standing timber. Crappie good on hair jigs, minnows, and plastic baits around brush structure. Striped bass hybrids and white bass fair on sassy shad and spinnerbaits around points and shorelines. Comments: Fishing continues to be good as the winds of change finally bring some cool weather. Crappie are in the brush and most folks are finding them around 15 ft.
