Bristow Club Report for December 2023

December was a busy month for our club. December meeting, Tyler Hickman with H&H Meats talked about Meat Judging and brought differentcutsofmeattoidentify. Wealsoplayed a game listin 6 different cuts of meats in a steer. We collected snack cakes for Rainbow Healthcare.

Fort Gibson: December 10. Elevation is 1 ft. above normal and stable, water temperature 58°F and stained. (USACE Lake Level) Blue catfish good on shad around channels, main lake, and points. Crappie fair on hair jigs, minnows, and tube jigs around brush structure, docks, and main lake.

Pirate wrestlers take second place in 70th Chuck West Tournament

The 70th annual Chuck West Tournament took place over the weekend, December 8 and 9, 2023 Bristow took second in this year’s tournament competing against 25 other teams All Wrestlers did a Great job in this year’s Tournament Top 10 Team finishers 1 st Cushing 230 2 nd Bristow 224.
Bristow Pirates Junior High wrestling team in no particular order is Kambrey Phillips, Jaelynn Runnels, Miles Evans, Cordeus Wahl, Dax Delecerda, Tucker Daniels, Brody MacNac, Kolson Seachris, Braylon Freeman, Javon Freeman, Kale Fruits, Hudson Claggett, Mack Powel, Promised Johnson, Caden Pritchard, Blayne Barnes and Zander Reese, along with coaches Dusty Richardson and Howard Moore.
