The Bristow Purple Pirates won their game against McClain Science and Tech 48-28 on Friday. The Pirates got the ball rolling with a rushing touchdown. On McClain’s next drive, Bristow intercepted the Titans. Then, Cord Dobrinski scored a rushing touchdown. In the second quarter, McClain fumbled the ball and Bristow recovered for a touchdown. Then, Kaylon Tolon intercepted the Titans and returned it for a touchdown. McClain scored their first points of the game with a kick return for a touchdown. To end the first half, Stephon Tolon scored a rushing touchdown to extend the Pirates lead to 21-8.

During the third quarter, Bristow fumbled the ball, and McClain recovered. On the Pirates’ next drive, Antonio Givings rushed for a touchdown. Then, McClain passed for their second touchdown of the game. Afterward, Tolon passed for a touchdown. In the fourth quarter, McClain scored their second rushing touchdown of the game. Then, Bristow fumbled the ball, and McClain recovered. The Titans managed to score a touchdown off the turnover to end the game.

The Pirates ended the game with 328 total yards, 62 passing and 266 rushing. With this victory, Bristow advances to the second round of the playoffs. The Pirates’ next game is Friday, Nov. 20 here against Broken Bow. The game will start at 7 p.m., and tickets are $7.
