Pirates defeat Oologah, 37 - 14

The Bristow Purple Pirates won their game against Oologah 37-14 on Friday. The Pirates got the ball rolling with a rushing touchdown by Sutton Titsworth at the end of the first quarter. In the second quarter, Bristow intercepted Oologah. Then, the Pirates fumbled the football and Oologah recovered. Luckily for Bristow, Oologah failed to capitalize on the turnover, and soon after, the Pirates scored another rushing touchdown to end the first half.

During the third quarter, Stephon Tolon scored a rushing touchdown to extend the Pirates lead. Then, Oologah scored their first touchdown of the game. Afterward, Tolon scored another rushing touchdown. The Pirates ended the third quarter with an interception. In the fourth quarter, Oologah fumbled the ball and Bristow recovered. Then, Oologah scored their second touchdown of the night. Afterward, Bristow ended the game with rushing touchdown

The Pirates ended the game with 368 total yards, all of them rushing. The Pirates’ next game is Friday, November 13 here against Tulsa McClain. This will be the Pirates’ first playoff game. All playoff games start at 7 p.m., and tickets are seven dollars.
