Pirates beat Cache, 28 - 21

The Bristow Purple Pirates won their game against Cache 28-21 on Friday. This game was played as a replacement game as both Skiatook and Catoosa had to cancel due to COVID-19. Cache got the ball rolling with a touchdown to start the game. Then, the Pirates answered back with a rushing touchdown by Stephon Tolon. Cache soon retook the lead with another touchdown. In the second quarter, Cache Henson scored a rushing touchdown. Then, Tolon intercepted Cache as the Pirates’ first interception of the night.

During the third quarter, Cord Dobrinski scored a rushing touchdown, and the Pirates took the lead. Then, Bristow and Cache each scored a touchdown. In the fourth quarter, Tolon picked off Cache for the second time that night. Afterward, Charles Ware recorded the Pirates’ third interception of the night and ended Cache’s night.

The Pirates ended the game with 274 total yards, 17 passing and 257 rushing. The Pirates’ next game is Friday, Nov. 6 against Oologah. This will be the Pirates’ last regular-season game.
