Pirate lose to Kellyville 42 - 40

The Bristow boys’ basketball team lost their game against Kellyville 42-40 last Tuesday. The game started with a block by Stephon Tolon. Then, the Pirates got a steal by Cayden McCall. At the end of the first quarter, Sutton Titsworth scored the first three-pointer of the game for Bristow. In the second quarter, McCall got a block against the Ponies. Then, Titsworth scored his second three-pointer of the game. Afterward, Dusty Campbell got a steal for the Pirates. During the third quarter, Charles Ware scored the third three-pointer for Bristow. In the next quarter, Ware blocked the Ponies’ ball. Then, Titsworth scored his third three-pointer of the game. Afterward, McCall scored a three-pointer. The Pirates ended the game with 45 rebounds, 11 assists, seven steals, and three blocks.

Their next game was against North Rock Creek on Friday, where they lost 59-38. During the first quarter, Ware got a steal. That was followed by two blocks by Kaylon and Stephon Tolon. Then, Ware scored a three-pointer. Afterward, Alex Winter and Dusty Campbell both got blocks. In the fourth quarter, the Titsworth stole the ball. Then, he scored a threepointer. That was followed by two three-pointers by Ware. The Pirates ended the game with 38 rebounds, eight assists, eight steals, and four blocks. Their next game will be on Saturday, Jan. 2 against Kellyville.
