(USGS Lake Level) Largemouth bass fair on Alabama rigs, crankbaits, plastic baits, and spinnerbaits around brush structure, docks, main lake, points, and riprap. Channel catfish fair on cut bait, dough bait, hot dogs, shad, stinkbait, and worms around brush structure, creek channels, docks, main lake, and points. Comments: City of Tulsa continues to release water from Eucha to keep Spavinaw Lake full to keep up with water demand in Tulsa. Lake level will continue to drop. Sooner: October 1. Elevation is normal, water temperature 73°F and clear. Largemouth bass slow on jerk baits and plastic baits around brush structure and rocks. Striped bass hybrids good on crankbaits and live shad around main lake. White bass good on crankbaits and jigs around discharge. Lower Mountain Fork: September 30. Elevation is normal, water temperature 66°F and clear. Rainbow trout excellent on plastic baits, PowerBait, small lures, tube jigs, and worms below the dam, channels, rocks, and spillway. McGee Creek: September 30. Elevation is 4 ft. below normal and falling, water temperature 81°F and clear. Channel and flathead catfish good on chicken liver, shad, and worms below the dam and channels. Crappie fair on jigs and minnows around brush structure and standing timber.
