Comments: Crappie bite is picking up. Anglers are catching males that have their spawning colors on and are in shallower waters. Brush piles near rocky shores are great spots for spawning crappie. Black bass bite is doing better too. Crankbaits, spinnerbaits, and jigs really doing well. Blue catfish are biting well with fresh shad off point and flats.
