Arcadia: April 23. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 62°F and stained. (USACE Lake Level) Blue and channel catfish fair on cut bait, punch bait, and stinkbait around channels, coves, and riprap. Largemouth bass fair on flukes and spinnerbaits around channels, coves, and points. Crappie fair on hair jigs, minnows, and tube jigs around brush structure, channels, and docks. Hefner: April 20. Elevation is 5.5 ft. below normal and stable, water temperature 63°F and stained. (USGS Lake Level) Blue and channel catfish good on minnows around docks and weed beds. Largemouth and white bass good on crankbaits and spinnerbaits around brush structure, docks, and shorelines. Overholser: April 23. Elevation is 1 ft. below normal and stable, water temperature 64°F and stained. (USGS Lake Level) Blue and channel catfish fair on cut bait and worms around points. Striped bass hybrids good on grubs and jigs around shallows and shorelines. White bass fair on crankbaits and in-line spinnerbaits around dam and shorelines. Stanley Draper: April 22. Elevation is .5 ft. below normal and stable, water temperature 61°F and stained. (USGS Lake Level) Largemouth bass good on Alabama rigs, lipless baits, and spinnerbaits around points, shallows, and shorelines. Crappie good on jigs and minnows around docks, shallows, and shorelines. White bass good on sassy shad and small lures around inlet, main lake, and points. Chandler: April 22. Elevation is 4 ft. below normal and stable, water temperature .69°F and stained. Largemouth bass fair on crankbaits, plastic baits, and spinnerbaits around brush structure and dam. Crappie fair on jigs and minnows around brush structure, dam, and docks. Copan: April 22. Elevation is 2 ft. below normal and stable, water temperature 59°F and stained. (USACE Lake Level) Blue and channel catfish fair on crickets, goldfish, live bait, live shad, shad, shrimp, sunfish, and worms around channels, main lake, and shorelines. Eucha: April 21. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 63°F and clear. (USGS Lake Level) Largemouth bass fair on crankbaits, jerk baits, and plastic baits around brush structure, points, and shorelines. Channel catfish fair on chicken liver, cut bait, and shrimp around coves, docks, and shorelines. White bass good on crankbaits, jigs, and small lures around coves and points. Fort Gibson: April 21. Elevation is 1.5 ft. above normal and stable, water temperature 60°F and murky. (USACE Lake Level) Largemouth bass good on crankbaits, flukes, jerk baits, jigs, lipless baits, and spinnerbaits around coves, points, and shorelines. Crappie good on hair jigs, minnows, spoons, and tube jigs around brush structure, docks, and shorelines. Blue catfish good on cut bait and shad around coves and points. Comments: Crappie bite is picking up. Anglers are catching males that have their spawning colors on and are in shallower waters. Brush piles near rocky shores are great spots for spawning crappie. Black bass bite is doing better too. Crankbaits, spinnerbaits, and jigs really doing well. Blue catfish are biting well with fresh shad off point and flats. Paddlefish are being caught in numbers in the upper end of the lake. The time to fish is now! Report submitted by Cody Morris, game warden stationed in Wagoner County.

Crappie good on hair jigs, jigs, minnows, spoons, and tube jigs around brush structure, coves, docks, and shorelines.
