The Bristow girls’ basketball team had two games last week. The first one was against Sperry, where they won 55-33. During the first quarter, Addi Alexander had two steals. In the second quarter, Ava Yocham scored a three-pointer. Then, Akiyah Rolland got a steal. Afterward, Yocham scored another three-pointer. That was followed by a steal by Alexander. Then, Yocham scored her third three-pointer of the game. During the third quarter, Alexander had another steal. Then, Abby Morgan scored a three-pointer. A block from Chelsy Livesay followed that. In the fourth quarter, Morgan scored her second three-pointer of the game. The Lady Pirates ended the game with 40 rebounds, 15 assists, 13 steals, and one block.
Their second game was against Cushing, where they won 54-50. The game started with two steals by Alexander. Then, Camille Pritchard got a steal. Afterward, Alexander had another steal. Then, she scored a three-pointer. That was followed by a three-pointer from Rolland. In the second quarter, Livesay had a block. Afterward, Morgan scored a three-pointer. In the fourth quarter, Rolland scored another three-pointer. The Lady Pirates ended the game with 36 rebounds, four assists, 17 steals, and one block. Their next game will be Friday, February 12 at Mannford.
