Lady Pirates lose game 58 - 42

The Bristow girls’ basketball team lost their game against Kellyville 58-42 last Tuesday. During the first quarter, Josi Morquecho stole the ball from the Ponies; she then blocked them. Afterward, Chelsy Livesay also got a steal for the Lady Pirates. In the second quarter, Addi Alexander stole the ball twice. During the last quarter, Livesay scored two threepointers. Then, Alexander got another steal. The Lady Pirates ended the game with 24 rebounds, 5 assists, five steals, and two blocks.

Their next game was against Okemah last Thursday, where they won 62-59. In the first quarter, Molly Gill stole the ball. Then, Camille Pritchard scored the first three-pointer of the game for the Lady Pirates. In the next quarter, Alexander scored her first three-pointer of the game. Afterward, she blocked Okemah’s ball. Then, Morquecho stole the ball, followed by two blocks by Pritchard. During the third quarter, Alexander scored her second threepointer of the game. In the last quarter, Alexander scored her third-pointer of the game. Then, Pritchard scored a three-pointer. The Lady Pirates ended the game with 37 rebounds, 15 assists, 11 steals, and three blocks. Their next game will be Saturday, January 2 against Kellyville.
