The Bristow girls’ basketball team had two games this week Their first game was against Cleveland, where they lost 57- 52. During the first quarter, Ava Yocham scored a threepointer. In the second quarter, Josi Morquecho, Jenna Stapleton, and Addi Alexander each got a steal. During the third quarter, Camille Pritchard had two steals. In the fourth quarter, Stapleton scored two threepointers. The Lady Pirates ended the game with 42 rebounds, seven assists, and nine steals.
Their second game was against Hugo, where they lost 41-39. The game started with a three-pointer by Abby Morgan. Then, Pritchard got a steal. Afterward, Gill stole the ball twice. In the second quarter, Gill scored a three-pointer. Then, Pritchard got her second steal of the game. Afterward, Morgan scored her second three-pointer of the game. During the third quarter, Yocham stole the ball. In the fourth quarter, Morgan scored her third three-pointer of the game. That was followed by a three-pointer by Alexander. The Lady Pirates ended the game with 36 rebounds, seven assists, and eight steals. Their next game will be Thursday, Jan. 21 at the Kiefer Tournament.
