The Bristow Lady Pirates will head to state on Thursday, Oct. 15, after winning regionals last week. The Ladies played strong in all four games and took the title of regional champions. In the first game on Thursday, the Ladies took the field against Poteau taking the win 13-1. Molly Gill had three hits and two RBIs, Mariah Moody made two hits, five RBIs and three QABs. Against Poteau, McKenna Ingram had two hits while Ava Yocum collected two walks, five RBIs and four QABs.

Ingram pitched five strikeouts.

That same afternoon, the Ladies played against Oologah, taking that game 4-1. Lacey Moody came in with two hits and two QABs while Abby Morgan got one hit and Kinzie Williams with one hit and three QABs. Gill took a walk along with Albaney Pritchard with one walk and two RBIs. Ingram had 23 first strike pitches and eight strikeouts in seven innings.

Friday afternoon the Ladies played against Poteau again, winning that game 1–0. Pritchard had two hits, one walk and four QABs. Moody made a hit, one walk and three QABs and Jaci Shelton made a hit. Ingram again took the pitchers mound making 24 first pitch strikes and 14 strikeouts in nine innings. The Ladies will go for the state championship Thursday, Oct. 15, in Oklahoma City.
