Body

A young, determined, Lady Pirate named Dustie Barnes made her way back to playing the game she loves to play. A couple of years ago, Barnes was disgnosed with a rare crippling disease that would cause her hands to shrivel up. The doctors told Barnes and her parents that she would never be able to play her favorite sport again or any other sport for that matter.

Barnes determined to get back on the field, worked hard to achieve her goal and her determination and hard worked payed off. This past weekend, she played her first giddy game where she got a hit her first at bat, stole a couple of bases and scored.
