Bristow’s Pirate Pride Band prepares for upcoming competitions

The Bristow Pirate Pride has been working diligently on their show this year since late July. This year’s show is entitled “Jail Break” which includes the following song selections, “Jailhouse Rock” by Elvis Presley, “Chain Gang” by Sam Cooke, “The Jazz Police” by Gordon Goodwin, and “Don’t Worry Be Happy” by Bobby McFerrin. The Pride is being led by Senior Drum Major Caillin Dover.

Bristow’sThe Pride will be competing in the Oologah Stallion Battalion on Sept. 25, The Blue & Gray Marching Classic on Oct. 1, and the Beggs Invitational on Oct. 8.
