Rev. Joel Neal Blanton Sr., 96, of Logansport, passed away 2:20 am Sunday Jan. 30, 2022, at Blair Ridge Nursing Home in Peru, Indiana. He was born in Drumright, on Nov. 3, 1925, the son of the late Marcus and Lillian (Hubbard) Blanton. On Jan. 26, 1948, he married Geraldine “Geri” Johnson, and she preceded him in death on April 4, 2010.

Bonita was born on Aug. 31, 1940, in Fannin County Texas to George Emly Anderson and Elizabeth Ann (Potter) Anderson. Bonita grew up in Bristow and attended Bristow Public Schools. She had lived in Norman for the last 20 years, and was a resident of Medical Park West for the last six years. Bonita passed away on Jan. 24, 2022, in Norman.

Wilma Annetta Ashley was born the second child of Clemon and Zenobia Ashley on March 19, 1941 in the small, yet prominent town of Boley. Wilma grew up in Boley and its surrounding towns in her early childhood, having ultimately settling in Bristow.
