Wanda Jane Chapman was born Dec. 14, 1940, to Farmer Foster and Clara Mabel (Custer) Callison in Castle. She departed this life Jan. 13, 2021, at the age of 80 years and 30 days.

Jane graduated from Okemah High School in 1957.

On Dec. 25, 1962, Wanda Jane Callison and James Arthur Chapman were united in marriage; to this union were born three sons. Residing in Tulsa, Jim and Jane moved to Bristow in 1970 making it their permanent home. Jane was an Administrative Assistant at SpiritBank for 23 years before her retirement. She was honored that the bank named their annual coat drive after her. Jane loved working in her flower garden. As well, she was very active in the community; she was a member of the Garden Club and Beta Sigma Phi. A member of the SpiritBank Gold Club, Jane enjoyed traveling to different places the club visited. Time with family was cherished; this usually involved cooking but she did not mind at all. Always on the move, she and her friends frequently got together to run here or there. Time was always made for garage sales along the way. She served the Lord faithfully attending church at Church of God and later First Free Will Baptist Church.

She is survived by three sons, Jeff Chapman and fiancé Kathryn Taffy Clark, of Owasso, Mark Chapman, of Bristow and Kevin Chapman, of Sapulpa; 12 grandchildren, Matthew Chapman, Zack Chapman, Hunter Chapman, Gavin Chapman, Calvin Chapman, Tommy Chapman, Katelen Chapman, Morgan Chapman, Cassidy Clark, Ashlynn Clark, Lexi Clark and Mitchell Clark and three greatgrandchildren, Keeton Chapman, Kayden Chapman and Makenna Chapman.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 56 years, Jim; one grandson, Corey Chapman; four sisters and two brothers.

Memorial services will be held 2 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 21, 2021, at the Freewill Baptist Church in Bristow with Reverend Gene Jackson officiating.
