March 21, 1956 - April 7, 2024

Terry Edward Bavousette was born March 21, 1956, to Paul Edward and Madeline Bavousette in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He departed this life April 7, 2024, at the age of 68.

He graduated from Sapulpa High School in 1974 and then Oklahoma State University where he received his bachelor’s degree. He retired from Kellyville Public Schools where he taught Math. He was currently serving as a substitute teacher for the Bristow Public Schools.

Terry was a true servant, for many years he was a part of the Red Cross disaster relief crews traveling to foreign countries as well as local teams dealing with tornados and storm damage.

Terry was a faithful member of the Bristow First Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He was also a storm chaser for Channel 8 News station. He was an avid fan of Oklahoma State Football, St. Louis Cardinals Baseball, and the Kansas City Chiefs football teams. He regularly traveled to major league baseball games.

He enjoyed following sports but above all of his sports teams he was a fan of the legendary band the “Beatles”.

He is survived by his sister, Sharon McDonald and husband, Jim of Sapulpa. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m., Friday, April 12, 2024, at the Bristow First Baptist Church with interment to follow at the Bristow City Cemetery.
