Rick Taylor, 75, of Tulsa, died on Oct. 6, 2021. He was born on Feb. 18, 1946, in Fairfax, to Richard Eugene and Wanda Paula (Henry) Taylor.

Rick served in the U.S. Navy, assigned to Balboa Naval Hospital in San Diego, California, and worked as a logistics truck driver for 22 years. When he was home from the road, Rick was a loving husband and father, and enjoyed spending as much time as possible with his wife and daughter. He was a devoted member of Victory Christian Center, and met and married his wife there.

Rick was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Joan (Goad) Vance Taylor; daughter, Rebekah Sharon Taylor, of Tulsa; brothers Chuck Taylor and wife, Sarah, of San Antonio, Texas, Mike Taylor and wife, Jeanette, of Okmulgee, and Mark Taylor and wife, Nancy, of Catoosa; sister, Wendy Taylor of Jenks; half-sister, Pam Taylor-Weaver, of Oregon; half-brother, Doug Taylor, of California; and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside Service were at 12:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2021at the Fort Gibson National Cemetery, Fort Gibson, Oklahoma.

Arrangements were under the direction of Moore's Eastlawn Chapel, 1908 S. Memorial Dr., Tulsa, Oklahoma, 918-622-1155.
