Patricia Gertrude Norris
Patricia Gertrude Norris was born May 23, 1956, to Hartzel and Barbara Mooney in Pontiac, Michigan. She departed this life Feb. 6, 2021 at the age of 64 years, eight months and 14 days.
Patricia made her way to Bristow in 1972 and remained a resident until her passing. She grew up attending school in Pontiac, Michigan. Patricia was a loving and caring person who always gave. Even if nothing more than her time, she was always happy to give. Though unable to work most of her life, being a stay-at-home mom brought her much joy. Becoming a grandma to seven grandchildren, Joseph Webb and wife Olivia, Reagan Barrera, Holly McMillan and husband Jonathan, Emily Barrera, Michael Sturdevant and wife Kelsey, Lacy Barrera and Peyton Dixon and once again a great grandma to Reid McMillan, Mason Ballard and Joshua and Lauralynn Webb put a smile on her face that would only grow when she talked about her grandchildren. She loved anytime spent with her family. Patricia was one to stay busy. Crochet and bead work could always pass time. Rest assured she could find her way to a BINGO game.
Patricia is survived by two daughters, Bonnie Barrera, of Bristow and Joshephine Sturdevant, of Bristow; two sisters, Carolyn Blake and Mary Cork both, of Michigan; one brother, Wayne Dabbs, also of Michigan; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Dennis and Mitch and two granddaughters, Emily and Reagan Barerra.
Memorial services will be held 2 p.m., Friday, Feb. 19, 2021, at Hutchins-Maples Matherly Chapel with Pastor Charlie Simmers officiating.
