Micah Joe McMullen, 1977 - 2021

Micah Joe McMullen was born Sept. 15, 1977 in Bristow. He was reunited with his mom in Heaven May 9, 2021, at the age of 43 years, seven months and six days.

Micah grew up in Bristow and was a 1999 graduate of Bristow High School. He never met a stranger greeting everyone with a handshake; sometimes two. Micah shared a special bond with his mom and caretaker, Sherry. He loved listening to music. His most favorite song was “Elvira” by the Oakridge Boys. Basketball was his favorite sport, and you could find him shooting hoops often. He loved being outdoors. Mowing the lawn was something he loved to do and he was quick to show off his lawn mower. Long car rides with his mom and church on Sundays always put a smile on his face.

Micah is survived by his sister, Michelle Oswald; two nephews Caleb and Christian Oswald, all of Bristow; his aunt Ella McMullen, of Ponca City; Uncle Clifford McMullen and Wife Laura, of Sapulpa; cousins T.C. Hankins and wife Jenn, of Broken Arrow and Andon McMullen, of Sapulpa.
