Manuel Lee Love was born May 22, 1950 to George and Nellie Love in Claremore. He departed this life May 6, 2024 at the age of 73 years.

Manuel became an Infantryman with the United States Army in January of 1968. He gave his country a tour in Vietnam earning a purple heart before his honorable discharge. Manuel remained a proud Patriot throughout his life.

October 12, 1971, Manuel and Carla Housley were married raising two sons together. He and his family made their home in Sapulpa where he worked servicing nail guns for construction companies. Manuel was the best when it came to their repair and made a long career of it. He loved music; gospel to hard rock was his play list and he knew them all. He was an avid concert goer when younger slowing down for westerns and mysteries on the TV in later years. Manuel and Marilyn Hargrave were united in marriage October 17, 2019 in Harrah, Oklahoma; it was then that he would make the move from Sapulpa. He and Marilyn attended Faith Baptist Church of Harrah. Manuel knew the word and loved to talk of Jesus’ return, and he did not shy away from talking to anyone about it. He had a genuine concern for the salvation of those he loved and those around him.

Mauel is survived by his wife, Marilyn; two sons, Ryan and Josh Love; two sisters, Teresa Barnett and Melissa Manes; five granddaughters, Heaven Love, Makayla Lathe, Gabby Love, Sarah Love and Rosalie Davis; two grandsons, Wyatt Love and Caden Love; three great grandchildren, Cobe and Drake Choate and Paisley Lathe.
