Kerr Charrith Laskey, 1950 -2021

Kerr Charrith Laskey was born Jan. 19, 1950, to Sam Laskey Sr and Lougenia (Tillman) Laskey, in Bristow. He departed this life March 15, 2021, at the age of 71 years, one month and 24 days.

Kerr was a 1969 graduate of Bristow High School. He was a long-time area mechanic employed with Bolin Ford. He loved fishing but nothing brought him greater joy than spending time with his family and grandchildren.

Kerr is survived by one son, Kerr Jr. (Ashley), of Depew; stepchildren, Denesha, of Kansas, Oklahoma and Andre of Depew; five brothers, Cardell (Anne), of Tulsa, Sam Jr. of Spencer, Oklahoma, Millard, of Bristow, Earnest (Eleanor), of Choctaw, and Delbert, of Oklahoma City; two sisters, Emma (Dessie), of Clearview, Oklahoma and Mattie (Orlando) of Midwest City; five grandchildren, Lyric Laskey, Aiden Laskey, Dayzia Friday, Terrence Friday Jr. and Andre Morris Jr.

He was preceded in death by his parents and five brothers, Melvin Laskey, John Benny Laskey, Curtis Laskey, Leo Laskey and Clarence Laskey.

Memorial services were held at 1 p.m., Saturday, March 20, 2021, at Trinity Baptist Church in Bristow.
