Kenneth Lewis Seney was born Nov. 28, 1933, to Cleatus and Dora Seney in Neosho, Missouri. He departed this life Feb. 25, 2022, at the age of 88 years.

Kenneth moved to the area with his family at a young age making Bristow his forever home. He grew up attending Bristow schools and was a 1952 graduate of Bristow High School. He served his nation honorably with the United States Navy. Kenneth returned home to Bristow after completing his duties.

On Sept. 7, 1958, he and Patricia Ruth Maben were united in marriage. They built their life together and raised two children, Robin and Jana. Kenneth loved Pat with all his heart; spending 55 years together before she passed away on Nov. 18, 2014. Kenneth worked many years as an accomplished welder and fabricator in the Bristow community. He officially retired in 2004 but continued to do small jobs when asked. Kenneth fabricated the handrails in the Chuck West Field House as well as rebuilding the visitor side bleachers at Hafer Field. He had a gift for gab and loved to visit with friends. Kenneth was a Perpetual Member of both Bristow “Creek 226” Masonic Lodge and Scottish Rite as well as being involved with the Akdar Shrine.

Kenneth is survived by his son, Robin Seney of Bristow; daughter, Jana Losure of Tulsa and Cousin, Sharon Seiling of Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Pat; one sister, Norma Rose Seney and one brother, Robert William Seney.

Memorial services will be held 2 p.m., Friday, March 4, 2022 at Hutchins-Maples Matherly Chapel.
