Jetta Ann Ellison

June 11, 1947 - October 2, 2023 Jetta Ann Ellison was born June 11, 1947, to Calvin Neal McCaskell and Katherine Ann Corey Beaubien in Tulsa. After a long and courageous battle with health issues, she departed this life Oct. 2, 2023, at the age of 76.

Jetta had lived overseas for several years before settling in Tulsa. Jetta attended Oklahoma State where she was a proud Gamma Phi Beta. Jetta loved music. She was an alto who sang in many choirs and choruses and received honors and recognition as a gifted pianist. She enjoyed playing golf and bridge. Jetta was a member of the Bristow Presbyterian Church as well a proud longtime democrat.

She loved her family and will be missed by those who knew her.

She is survived by two children, Melissa Larson and husband Kelly, of Tulsa, and Corey Ellison of Colorado; three sisters, Nancy McCaskell of Dallas, Texas, Jane Yadon of Eugene, Oregon, and Mary Stewart Hall of Dallas, Texas; numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, Neal McCaskell.

Graveside services were held for 10 a.m., Monday, Oct. 9, 2023, at the Bristow City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made Harry’s Blessing in a backpack (Bristow Presbyterian Church). Services are under direction of Hutchins Maples Matherly Funeral Home.
