Jerome Wesley Humphries was born Nov. 7, 1932, to Gerald Earl and Gladys Dorothy Humphries in Minneapolis, Minnesota. On June 9, 2022 at the age of 89, Jerry closed his eyes in death here and opened them in heaven to behold the face of his Savior, Jesus where he heard the Lord God Almighty say “Well done my good and faithful servant”.

He enlisted in the United States Air Force and served for twenty years, retiring at the rank of Technical Sergeant in 1971. He served in country during the Korean War and later during the Vietnam War at Hickam AFB in Hawaii.
