Freddie Dale Haskins was born Sept.1, 1939, to Thomas and Lois Haskins, in Depew. He departed this life Aug. 12, 2021, at the age of 81 years 11 months and three days.

A lifelong Depew resident, Fred was a 1957 graduate from Depew High School.

On Jan. 8, 1961, Fred Haskins and Roxie Allee were united in marriage. To this union was born three daughters, Terri, Lisa and Tracy. A welder by trade, Fred worked diligently to provide for his family. He took a job with Hughes and Anderson in 1966 and it was from there that he would retire. Fred loved watching OU football; as well he enjoyed walking which gave him an opportunity to take in the great outdoors and all nature had to offer. His greatest joy was his grandchildren.

Fred is survived by his wife of 60 years, Roxie Haskins, of the Depew home; three daughters, Terri Levy and husband Morrie, of Bristow, Lisa McElyea and husband Rodger, of Stroud, and Tracy McKaughan and husband Mark Forester, of Tulsa; two sisters, Linda Devin and Connie Rivas; one brother, Darrell Haskins; six grandchildren, Brandon Dean, of Sperry, Jackie Dean, of Depew, Whitney Stevenson, of Houston, Texas, Dylan Howard of Houston, Texas, Clifton McElyea, of Del City, and Garrett McKaughan, of Sapulpa; five great-grandchildren,Lilly Brumley-Dean, Patrick Francis, Ally Dean, Bodhi Stevenson and Emma Cantrell.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and two brothers.

Graveside services were held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 17, 2021 at Stroud City Cemetery with Reverend James Lame officiating.
